Each year, in addition to the Cathedral’s own choirs, several community and college choruses/instrumental ensembles are invited to be "Resident Ensembles."
The Cathedral is able, through this program, to provide rehearsal room, publicity through the Cathedral bulletin and website, concert performance opportunities [for non 501C3 groups and under certain conditions 501C3 groups], as an encouragement to exceptional choirs and instrumental ensembles that regularly program sacred literature and sacred/classical masterpieces.
In exchange, these ensembles will serve as liturgical choirs/ensembles at weekend services during their period of residency.
Directors of choruses/ensembles may apply for 3 to 12 month residencies for the coming year.
